3 Extremely Important Prototype Lounge Chairs made for André Ligné, 1941
31h x 25w x 33d in
These are the first lounge chairs designed and made by Nakashima for his first major commission in Seattle. Made for the apartment of André Ligné, French cosmetics executive - and only rediscovered recently after being "lost" for over 60 years. See attached photos of the original Ligne interior including these chairs. Amongst the earliest and most important pieces made by George Nakashima, 1941
